2 Year Blogiversary AND Giveaway!

So it's hard to believe that two years ago today I wrote my first blog post. I'd like to think that I've come a long way since my first post, as I've learned how to write better, take better pictures, and make my blog better in general, through the advice given from fellow bloggers. A big thank you to Stacy Goldberg of Savorfull for trusting me with her product as a new blogger!

And of course a HUMONGOUS thank you to all of my followers! With almost 30,000 page views, 205 followers on Twitter and 100 followers on Instagram, I feel like I'm connected to a huge family across the world. While most of the people reading my blog are in the United States, I have a surprising following in France, Germany and even Turkey! I also thank you for your patience as I don't always blog frequently. If you're not following me on Instagram, may I suggest doing so? I post on there very frequently. :)

I've also been able to use my blog to bring about Celiac Disease awareness, highlight training for doctors so that more may be diagnosed, and to raise money for FARE and for all those living with food allergies and intolerances. Thanks to my friends and followers, I was one of the top 10 fundraisers at the Lansing FARE Walk! This was such a great way to spend my birthday this year.

One of the best things about the having a gluten free blog is the people whom you get to meet and companies whom you get to connect. I'm so blessed to have met the owners of companies large and small, to learn about their passions behind their products, and to be able to support one another. A shout out to Chebe for sharing their products with me and sharing my reviews with their followers!
One of the ways I was able to meet all these wonderful was as a media blogger for the Gluten and Allergen Free Expo in Chicago. This event was such much fun and it was such an honor to be chosen!
It was there that I met the group of amazing bloggers pictured above!

This was a year that I recognized in the public sector as well. I gave a presentation at University of Michigan- Flint, was highlighted as the Gluten Free Delight Magazine's Blogger of the Week, and was interviewed by The Flint Journal. It is such a privilege to be able to be a voice and face for those living with Celiac Disease!

As I continue to lead our support group and continue to work towards Celiac Disease Awareness, I'm excited about the possibilities that lay ahead. I look forward to learning more through conference and books like Gluten Freedom and The Complete Guide to Living Well Gluten Free, and being able to share that with my followers and support group members. As doctor awareness is still strong in my heart, I will soon be trying to connect with doctors and hospitals both on the local and state level so that 100% of those with Celiac Disease can be diagnosed and no longer have to suffer with their symptoms.

As a thank you for your support through these past two years, I'm giving away a prize pack of some great gluten free items! Items include products from Sunbutter, Lundberg Farms, Massel,Walden Farms, Schar and Nature's Path! Just enter the RaffleCopter giveaway below!
