And I absolutely love them dry roasted and seasoned. Which makes me SO grateful that Biena Foods sent me a couple of their flavored dried roasted chickpeas to try. I came home from a weekend in Chicago to a box of Cinnamon Maple, Honey Roasted and Barbeque chickpea snacks. Perfect welcome home present.
I may or may not have eaten the whole bag of the Cinnamon Maple snacks in one sitting.
But with 5 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber per serving, who can blame me, right?
It's like eating a super healthy snicker noodle. And who doesn't love cookies?
The honey roasted are equally tasty. I even had a few more just now, just to make sure. :)
The barbeque are a bit stronger. I once made oven fried barbecue chicken using crushed chickpeas as the breading. I'm eager to try it again with the Biena Foods Barbeque Chickpea Snacks.
A big thank you to Biena Foods for providing me with these products. While they showered some chickpea affection on me for free, my opinions are solely my own. :)
